Responsibilities:

The Compensation Analyst reports directly to the Compensation Director and will assist the Compensation function in the development, implementation and maintenance of compensation programs at Iron Mountain. This includes partnering with Compensation team members, HR and business managers to provide assistance / guidance around compensation programs, ensuring compliance, and assistance with the related compensation systems and processes, such as ongoing benchmarking and annual merit/bonus compensation.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Act as compensation function lead in maintaining and supporting the critical compensation

  • systems (i.e., Workday Compensation and MarketPay).

  • Participate in identified salary surveys.

  • Partner with internal compensation consultants and HR and business managers regarding

  • compensation issues, policies and procedures.

  • Gather and analyze data providing relevant information / recommendations to HR /

  • business managers.

  • Develop materials to educate Managers about compensation and the programs at Iron

  • Mountain.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations.

  • Responsible for monthly processes such as stock option, deferred compensation, etc.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers in all matters

  • pertaining to Compensation.

  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Educational Requirements:

  • BS Degree preferred in HR, Business or Finance.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Minimum of two (2) years of compensation experience.

  • Excellent project management, analytical and computational skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Workday (Compensation), Microsoft Excel and Access.

  • Good interpersonal skills for client and colleague interaction.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain total confidentiality in all matters related to employee

  • compensation.

  • Good organizational, project and time management skills.

Work / Physical Requirements:

Travel Requirements (based upon a 20-day work month) 10%.
