Regional HR Program Manager


Iron Mountain is seeking a Regional HR Program Manager to join our North American Records & Information Management (NA RIM) HR Business Partnerships Team within the Global HR function. Reporting to the VP, HR Business Partnerships, this role will be accountable for supporting and managing HR program creation and deployment for new programs, provide ongoing support and optimization of existing programs (such as annual cycles) as well as complex business initiatives like mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. This position will also help to directly support and execute key HR and business initiatives in direct partnership with our HR Business Partners (HRBP’s) across NA RIM.


  • Work across the HR model to plan, organize, lead, and deploy HR programs in partnership with the HRBP’s, HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations/Global Business Services, the NA RIM business, and other functional teams

  • Provide input to the Global Deployment Leader on stakeholder analysis and development of the change management plan for HR programs

  • Participate as a member of the HR readiness workstream on all relevant HR programs to represent the voice of the NA RIM Region and/or Regional HRBP; acts as liaison to Hub or HRBP team to socialize plans and gain/integrate their input

  • Localise relevant components of the change, communication and training plans (e.g., local communication and training delivery channels), to meet the needs of the audience - in accordance with the global standards set by the Global Deployment Lead

  • Execute the change, communication and training plan with business leaders, in partnership with HRBPs

  • Ensures the Business and/or HRBP team are prepared to execute on the program at launch

  • Act as a project manager on HRBP initiatives that are not global and/or run by the Portfolio Team

  • Coordinate feedback from the Region or HRBPs about the employee experience and provide back to the Portfolio Deployment TeamSet the standards for how Regional Deployment Managers will operate and work through the them and the Regional Delivery Hub teams to deploy programs consistently across regions

  • Develop and manage global deployment playbooks, such as those used in M&A and reorganizations

  • Organize and deploy cross-functional teams to address complex, urgent or critical HR or business initiatives (e.g., M&A)

  • Ensure all programs within responsibility design and execute on change management, communication and training plans to all affected stakeholders


  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration, management science or other related discipline; Master's degree in a related field preferred

  • 7-10 years or more of experience in communications and change management, to include stakeholder analysis and program launch planning

  • Demonstrated success working on large-scale projects in a highly complex and dynamic environment

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with ability to influence and build relationships across broad range of stakeholders

  • Ability to manage diversity of culture and languages

  • Ability to strategically connect dots across the HR program landscape, seeking out interdependencies and opportunities to bundle communication and training

  • Business acumen and pragmatic mindset, focus on business outcomes when managing HR programs

  • Skilled at fostering collaboration and connectedness across a regional team
