The Iron Mountain Data Center team is seeking for a highly motivated FP&A manager, Asia to join our business finance team. You will become part of our dynamic fast growing international organization. The role reports to the FP&A Director, IMDC International. The business finance team works as a financial hub between IMDC’s leadership and business team, controlling/accounting team, IMDC regional & global headquarters, and financial shared service functions. The team covers finance related responsibilities, from defining and driving budgeting, forecasting and performance management, monthly management reporting, ad-hoc analyses and modeling, strategic planning, providing capital planning and business case support, and managing financial controls. As a member of the team, we are looking for a person that possesses accounting, financial, strategic, and analytical skills and the talent to support IMDC and its growing global footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
As an FP&A manager you will have the following responsibilities:
Take part / manage our long term strategic/growth planning exercise focusing on critical success factors around commercial, operational performance and capital effectiveness.
Participate in key resource allocation decisions by preparing / contributing to sound business cases around market entries, real estate and capacity expansion projects.
Support the annual budget and in-year financial forecasting processes including revenue, operating expenses, capital spend and cash flow, inline with corporate requirements. Recommend and drive value-adding changes and efficiencies through systems and process improvement;
Prepare monthly business performance reports for senior leaders. Provide variance analysis on key KPIs vs Budget/Forecast, highlight key business risks and opportunities.
Take part in monthly/quarterly business review sessions, support forward looking decisions by delivering actionable insights on financial and business performance. Monitor execution.
Support the modeling and analysis for customer and M&A opportunities including the preparation of materials to deliver the business case to senior management and leadership;
Support the site teams and central functions (sales & marketing, revenue management, operations, design & construction, legal etc.) in reporting and analysis, functional cost management and engage in discussions for areas of improvement;
Support integration efforts in India to ensure global IMDC standards are applied to financial / business processes in an efficient way.
Support IMDC Finance mission of providing high-quality business partnering service, enhancing the way that the business thinks about financial performance and measurement.
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field;
8+ years of progressive financial / FP&A experience focused on providing budget, forecast and business analysis support within a complex corporation;
Advanced proficiency in accounting/planning/reporting/performance management systems (Oracle, Onestream, HFM, salesforce, etc.), MS Excel, PowerPoint; google applications. Deep experience in more advanced BI tools is a plus.
Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills; able to analyze / synthesize large quantities of data, identify trends/drivers, and distill them into value adding insights for the management. Strict attention to detail.
Familiar with US GAAP / IFRS, Sarbanes Oxley compliance
Ability to build partnerships, influence decisions, work in a collaborative style and become a sought-out financial business partner. Fosters teamwork across the organization, and achieves consensus;
Passion for driving and delivering results, acting as a financial agitator for perfomance improvement;
Quick learner, creative thinker and problem solver who can deliver innovative ideas and approaches when faced with new issues or challenges;
High degree of business acumen and ability to interface with executive management;
Strong communication both verbal and written, fluency in English;
High level of personal accountability, self starter attitude, ability to work independently. Ability to balance and prioritize tasks in a changing, high pressure environment;
Experience with data centers/real estate/facility management is a plus. Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
