About the role…

The Training Supervisor develops, implements, and oversees training programs. Responsibilities include assessing needs, designing curriculum, delivering training, and evaluating effectiveness. Collaboration with department heads to address skill gaps is key.

YOU'LL GET TO...

Team Management:

  • Supervise and lead a team of trainers, providing direction, support, and performance feedback.

  • Schedule and assign training sessions to trainers based on expertise and availability.

  • Monitor trainer performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure training quality.

Training Program Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs that meet organizational needs.

  • Update training materials regularly to reflect the latest industry trends and company policies.

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops as needed, ensuring content is engaging and relevant.

  • Oversee the delivery of training programs by trainers, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.

  • Evaluate training outcomes and gather feedback to improve future training sessions.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain training records, including attendance, progress, and feedback.

  • Prepare reports on training activities, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

  • Manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on the latest training techniques and industry best practices.

  • Implement innovative training methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE…

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a training role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

  • Proven track record of developing and delivering effective training programs.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.

  • Ability to design and deliver engaging and impactful training sessions.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

  • Experience in customer satisfaction surveys, audits, and corporate training.

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CTT+) are a plus.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Passionate about learning and development with a commitment to continuous improvement.
