The Job

The role will manage and implement strategic growth and pricing initiatives for existing and new customers in the country. The role will be responsible for the overall strategy, performance and management of the sales team through coaching, leadership and motivation by ensuring the activities, direction and results of the sales team exceed target and KPIs.

The Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to a team of experienced sales professionals or managers

  • Translate sub-functional strategies into comprehensive strategic and operational plans for the area, ensuring accountability for resource allocation and team performance results

  • Develop and communicate an annual sales strategy, along with an aligned operational plan aimed at achieving annual targets and KPIs

  • Exhibit exemplary leadership qualities by coaching, mentoring, and training all team members to operate at peak efficiency and meet sales objectives

  • Cultivate a high-performance sales environment and foster a culture of excellence

  • Lead the implementation of new directives, product launches, and sales initiatives

  • Manage processes and other mechanisms to uphold sales compliance and integrity, including overseeing interactions with other departments

  • Conduct talent reviews, crafting performance evaluations and development action plans for direct reports

  • Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with other functional managers.Ensure team members consistently embody the company's values

  • Continuously identify and drive improvement initiatives throughout the department to enhance overall team effectiveness

The Person

  • Seasoned professional with a stellar track record in sales, particularly within the dynamic realm of high-performance customer service

  • 15 years of experience in B2B sales, you'll bring a wealth of expertise to our team

  • Proven ability to foster strong connections within government agencies and across the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sectors is invaluable

  • Leadership skills shine through as you've successfully led high-performing sales teams to achieve remarkable results, optimizing sales leads from inception to closure

  • Disciplined approach to managing both team and work standards sets you apart

  • Possess a keen understanding of customer and market dynamics, enabling you to tailor strategies that meet business requirements seamlessly

  • Adeptness at handling customer objections showcases your negotiation and conflict management prowess
