COME DRIVE (AND GROW) WITH US!

Our CDL Truck Drivers are the public faces of Iron Mountain, trusted to transport and handle client materials and engage with clients and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner. Couriers are responsible for driving a company Class B vehicle to transport materials from client and Iron Mountain locations, loading and unloading through a variety of mechanisms using wireless scanning technology, preparing paperwork and performing daily vehicle maintenance to ensure it functions efficiently. This position calls for multi-day overnight routes to be completed as assigned. This position calls for a significant amount of physical strength and stamina. We pay by the hour, not the mile.

Start in Eagan/Bloomington at 6:00 am - Drive to Wisconsin or North Dakota stay overnight for 4 days return Fridays . *Travel expresses covered

PAY:

  • Local in Minneapolis/ rural areas $26.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE (paid bi weekly)

  • 4 nights out of state $28.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE (paid bi weekly) * Travel expenses covered

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

HOURS: 6:00 AM/ 7:00 am - 5:00 PM (FULL TIME expect OT- work until route is done )

  • 6401 W. 106th Street #801 , Bloomington, MN 55420

  • 950 Apollo Road, Eagan, MN 55121

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicates in a friendly professional manner with clients and co-workers

  • Operates and maintains company CDL vehicle safely and efficiently (whether manual or standard transmission)

  • Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting and driving without assistance (details below)

  • Executes accurate and timely handling of client delivery and shredding requests, e.g. multi day deliveries

  • Travel: 4 nights per week

  • Utilize a hand held scanner to accurately record the days activities

  • Climb/step-up into a truck cab

  • Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up and down inclines, stairs, changes in walking surfaces and elevations

  • Lift at least 70 lbs.

  • Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time

  • Push, Pull bins from 25-350 lbs., with an average weight of 170 lbs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum age 21 with a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License and good driving record

  • At least one year of route transportation experience preferred

  • Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical

  • Demonstrate safe, efficient driving skills and maintain all security procedures

  • Exhibit strong customer service and verbal communication

  • Carry recycling bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs, ladders

  • Lift at least 70 pounds; push/pull bins 25 to 350 pounds, average weight 170 pounds

  • Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
