Responsibilities

The Director of Channel Sales is a senior sales role that requires a self-driven leader who has a proven track record of building high performance relationships that deliver revenue results through channels and partners. They will manage our existing Channel and Alliance team. This leader will own Iron Mountain’s globalData Management channel and alliance go-to-market strategy; inclusive of channel business development strategy, plans, program, implementation and measurement; as well as the channel marketing strategy, plans, program implementation and measurement.

This is a great opportunity for a proven leader to create, execute and optimize revenue growth, net new channel partner acquisition, development and productivity.

Drives Revenue Growth and Opportunity Creation through Channel Business Development and Channel Marketing:

  • Has excellent Channel Business Development technical skills to lead and advance the overall revenue generating capability

  • Responsible for developing channel business development and marketing frameworks

Qualifications

Business Acumen :

  • Knows how enterprise businesses work and understands market forces. Simultaneous consideration of elements like market segments, competitors, related businesses, the economy, market psychology, etc.

  • Knowledgeable in practices, trends, and information affecting his/her business and organization; knows the industry and channel ecosystem and is aware of how strategies and tactics work in this marketplace.

  • Able to negotiate terms with partners and work with appropriate legal contacts to complete necessary contracts. Successfully engage team for launch/implementation

  • Deep understanding of channel, alliance and OEM business models and experienced in developing partner centric programs based on resell discount, transfer pricing, referral fees and recurring revenue share

  • 15+ years of experience in successfully driving integrated Channel Sales and Marketing strategies, plans, programs and operations to drive revenue growth.

  • A performance focused individual – one who is comfortable with and motivated by the challenge of leading an organization with a history to new heights of performance.

  • Ability to embrace an “evolve and learn” mentality and thrive in a dynamic learning organization.

  • Education/Experience: 4 year college required, Master's degree preferred/10+ years.
