Document and Scanning Specialist
Position Highlights
Contract Supporting the US Coast Guard (6-12 month contract)
Benefits Offered: 2 Weeks Paid Vacation, Sick-Time, Paid Federal Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits available immediately
Compensation: $18/hr (**Up to Additional $4.23/hr if no Medical/Dental/Vision benefits taken)
Location: 427 Commercial Street, Boston, MA 02109
Monday through Friday Shift (Day shift)
Position Summary
Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning – document preparation
Scan hard-copy files to electronic images. Assuring a quality image
Follow production procedures and completing internal documentation & tracking
Manifest and box up records for shipping
Job Requirements:
Familiarity with PC and other computer related products.
The ability to remove staples, sort, file and box records.
Must be able to maintain record order and sequence.
Must be able to understand the importance of detail and accuracy.
Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.
Must be acceptable of change and long duration of project assignments.
Demonstrate understanding for the importance and value of customers.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to bend, reach & Lift 50 lbs.
Identified candidate will need to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check successfully prior to start
