Responsibilities

The Program Manager for Data Protection Product Management will have primary responsibility for the successful execution programs to support the growth objectives of the DP business. The PM is responsible for managing communication, adhering to planned milestones and timelines, and managing cross-functional teams both internal and with partners. The PM will also monitor quality and execution of program/project plans, product launch plans, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with data storage, cloud, and/or data migration of data to/from the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive New Initiatives for Revenue Generation. Implements and maintains strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth with the Data Protection senior team. Initiatives may include new GTM models, packaging and pricing campaigns, etc. In addition, work with the sales team to support deal closure and follow up on deals that have closed to ensure they get to implementation and billing.

Product Launch and Project Planning. Develop and implement project plans around launch, relaunch, or post launch monitoring of our solutions. Assist in the analysis of data related to the market and/or metrics related to success criteria stated in our business plans.

New Solutions Planning. Assist in updating planning tools and documents to reflect our current and future solutions (roadmaps, executive status updates, etc.) Assist in the collateral creation and distribution to our sales teams and other stakeholders. Help drive specific activities around project planning and updates for special initiatives like sales incentive campaigns to drive results.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience developing and launching products to the market

  • Excellent program & project management skills

  • Leadership skills and the ability to influence and achieve results through others

  • Excellent written, verbal communication, planning and networking skills

  • Subject matter expertise on product lifecycle development

  • Strong presentation and public speaking ability

  • Ability to deploy practitioner’s skills and business management skills simultaneously.

  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing workloads and business pressures.
