The Senior Business Development role is a “Hunter” role responsible for driving net new sales and revenue from a customer portfolio of North American financial institutions from our top-tier Global Industries Strategic Accounts portfolio. The SBDE is responsible for increasing our footprint and meeting quota attainment.

The SBDR sells solutions through direct prospecting, networking and executing on marketing initiatives working in collaboration with a team that includes a Managing Director(s) who holds global accountability for the accounts and Global Account Manager(s).

Job Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the business development component of account planning and collaboration with the Managing Director and Global Account Manager on the overall plan

  • Identify new contacts, develop relationships, and uncover challenges that our solutions can address to grow the pipeline

  • Continually increase our customer knowledge, relevance and value proposition

  • Attain meetings for introductions, discovery sessions, and proposals

  • Leverage and align organizational resources

  • Construct client-based value propositions and proposals

  • RFP response management

Functional Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of strategic sales processes and value-based solution selling

  • The ability to listen, learn, question and challenge

  • Comfortable conducting daily reach-out calls to management and executive stakeholders

  • Experienced in creating value-based proposals

  • The ability to influence and negotiate based on the value

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills

  • Individually driven team collaborator

Domestic travel is required.

Experience: 4+ years of strategic selling to financial institutions
