Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, ALM (Asset Lifecycle Management) will play a crucial role in shaping the pricing strategy for Asset Lifecycle Management along with partners in Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT, Legal, and other functions. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining competitive positioning in the market. The successful candidate works closely with cross-functional teams, understands the business dynamic and requirements, supports pricing strategy setting, and quoting tool enhancements, and provides strategic insight to senior leadership. The role demands a creative eye, with an ability to identify opportunities in a complex environment, and a persuasive voice, with an ability to align diverse stakeholders around new growth strategies.
Essential Functions
Understand customer value – work with Customers, Marketing, and Sales to identify, quantify, and communicate customer impact from our services
Drive price strategy – translate business goals into price strategies for existing business and new opportunities; set performance targets by segment
Set product prices – work with the product price strategy leader and product managers to set list prices and target prices
Develop value communications – build messages and tools to translate features and benefits into unique, measurable customer value
Customer deal pricing – support price negotiations for large strategic deals with specific analysis based on expertise and creative research
Price improvement initiatives – analyze transactional data, listen to Sales and Operations leaders, identify opportunities to grow revenue from price management or new fees for services, manage program launch, develop metrics to measure performance

Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace
Ability to aggregate and organize large quantities of data from multiple sources
Ability to design, construct, analyze, and explain financial and other analytics models that are insightful, yet simple and transferrable
Able to recognize and identify trends and drivers, and distill them into insightful analysis
Ability, desire, and maturity to interface with executive management (which requires knowing when to listen and when to push back)
Ability to manage discussions and influence decision stakeholders at all levels, often without direct authority
Capability to lead others, even if they don’t work for you
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred – business, statistics, economics
10+ years’ experience, with at least 5 years of pricing-related experience
Certified Pricing Professional recognition is highly prized
Prior leadership is a plus
Creative analytic capability – the ability to utilize data to identify opportunities and build a compelling story for change; translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations
Persuasion – the ability to lead change and align multiple teams; to influence multiple senior leaders without direct authority; fluency with conference calls, webinars, PowerPoint, etc.
Multi-disciplinary capability – the ability to interact across functions and cultures
Project leadership – the ability to independently lead multiple projects from strategy to implementation
Speak statistics – pivot tables, correlation, Tableau, Customer Relationship Management system experience, price optimization tool exposure – all highly valued
Reasonably expected salary range: $97,700.00 - $130,200.00
