Responsibilities

The Business Relationship Executive (BRE) for North America has the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface with the North America business units and functional areas for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. This role liaises between the business and IT communities to align the demands and priorities between these two groups. A very important aspect of the role is to communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of the organization regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives. This role will proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units. The BRE for NA will be a key member of both the BRE Leadership Team and the North America Business teams.

  • Participate in developing the Multi-Year-Plan of both the North America businesses and the IT Roadmap

  • IT Demand Management Planning

  • Executive Escalation Point

  • Non-Integrated Acquisition IT Teams

  • QBR with IT Functional and Business Leadership teams

  • Shared Services engagement with Service Providers

  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office on the intake process and prioritization of candidate projects across the company.

  • Budgeting/Forecasting/Oversight

  • M&A Due Diligence and Integration

  • Facilitating the “One Iron Mountain” from a roll-up of many different technology platforms

  • Create consensus with other functions as to the timing of solution introductions and withdrawals

  • Partner with the Senior Executive Team to ensure alignment and coordination of strategic priorities

This role is a significant individual contributor role that has a broad knowledge of most technical, both local and shared as well as business resources to utilize them to effectively coordinate team members and external resources.

  • Strong Business Acumen

  • Deep understand of the various IT functions

  • Relationship Management to navigate both the business and IT to resolve escalated issues

  • Financial knowledge of both operating budgets and planning

  • Capital planning process

  • Program management knowledge

  • Presentation skills

  • Previous Business Partnering experience

  • International experience

  • Significant technical competence

  • Possess strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources.

  • Operational execution excellence

  • A technology-related BS or MS

  • MBA would be an asset

  • 10 years of progress leadership positions

  • Broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments

  • Extensive travel up to 30%
