Iron Mountain Warehouse Operations Specialist in Bristol, United Kingdom

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inbound Warehouse Specialist to join our Records Management Division at Iron Mountain. As an Inbound Warehouse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and organised handling of incoming boxes and files, ensuring accurate processing and timely dispatch to other depots and facilities across the UK.

Role: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 Hours per week, between 4pm - 1am, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work

Salary: £23,233 PA + £20 per shift allowance

Location: Barton Hill, Bristol

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming boxes and files brought in by local drivers.

  • Scan, create tickets, and accurately record information for each received item.

  • Palletise and prepare items for dispatch to other depots and facilities within the UK.

  • Collaborate with local drivers to ensure smooth and timely inbound operations.

  • Conduct regular quality checks to maintain the accuracy and integrity of records.

  • Organise and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.

  • Adhere to established protocols and standard operating procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless workflow.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or records management environment is preferred.

  • A forklift Licence would be advantageous

  • Proficient in using scanning equipment and inventory management systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

  • Ability to lift and move boxes of various sizes and operate pallet jacks.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with records management practices is a plus.
