Iron Mountain Warehouse Associate, Consumer Storage in Brooklyn, New York

Iron Mountain/Makespace is a moving and storage company that services a residential customer base in 11 major markets across the U.S and Canada. We specialize in residential moving services (packing, wrapping, securing and moving all residential goods). We are currently looking for individuals who are motivated by providing first in class customer service to our customers, enjoy an active work environment and love to work with a collaborative team!

Our Warehouse Associates are essential to Iron Mountain. They are responsible for keeping our warehouse organized, neat and processing items in a timely manner. They must keep a positive attitude at all times and be ready to adapt to any changes and hit the ground running on the position.

About the Job:

  • Warehouse work: Packing and picking

  • Consistent, Predictable Shifts ( Friday-Monday and Thursday-Sunday)

  • Competitive Hourly Pay

  • Biweekly pay schedule

  • Company Paid Uniforms and Safety Footwear

What We Do:

  • Warehouse work: Packing, wrapping, marking and picking items

  • Occasionally help the teams on the field by providing great customer service

  • Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry plastic bins and items throughout the warehouse

  • Commitment to adhere and enforce all security procedures

Job Requirements:

  • Prepare for and complete warehouse tasks such as picking items that have a large volume and/ or furniture items while showing a positive attitude

  • Pack, wrap, and mark items to protect items while in transport and storage

  • Working with the operations manager to develop best practices for moving, storing, and organizing items

  • Computer proficiency, Scanners & Handheld device experience strongly needed

  • You must be able to lift heavy items (25 to 100 lbs.)

  • You're flexible to work weekends as needed
