Title: Bid Management Supervisor, Deal Operations Center
Location: Remote - Poland, Romania, Bulgaria
Job summary
The Bid Team Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing a centralised team focused on preparing responses to low to medium complexity customer tenders and other bid support requests. This role’s primary responsibility involves leading a team of Bid Coordinators and Bid Writers to ensure an efficient, high-quality and agile transactional process for the Commercial and Public Sector markets. This involves drawing on our capability as a leading strategic partner across information and assets whilst driving best practise. The Bid Supervisor has overall responsibility for the team's performance and primary responsibility for relationship engagement, robust governance and pipeline management and allocation.
The Bid Supervisor reports directly to the Head of Bid Management EMEA and works remotely with occasional travel requirements.
Your role in our mission:
Lead, mentor and support a team of bid resources across various projects.
Collaborate with sales leadership and stakeholders to establish priorities and manage a high volume of projects with quick turnarounds.
Review the team’s work for quality, adherence to corporate brand, customer requirements and formatting.
Guide the team on project understanding, completeness, compliance and document management.
Establish clear goals and expectations for employees, providing regular feedback and conducting performance evaluations.
Facilitate team communication and collaboration.
Mentor and develop employees through guidance, training and continuous learning.
Resolve conflicts and issues that may arise within the team
Valued skills and experience:
University degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field
Full proficiency in English at the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) C2 level
Second language, such as Spanish, French, German or Polish, is highly desirable
Substantial and proven experience in bid management, proposal development or sales support
Ability to set priorities for others and coordinate delivery of multiple projects simultaneously within agreed upon timelines
Exceptional multitasking skills within a fast-paced, challenging and deadline-driven environment
Advanced communication, writing & editing, presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with use of MS Office, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat and similar technology
Experience with content management systems, particularly Responsive, preferred
Familiarity with service-based and/or technology solution selling
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail required
APMP certification or similar beneficial
