THE OPPORTUNITY

Title: Paralegal with German

Fixed term contract: 9 months

Location: Hungary, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic

Work type: 100% remote

Global Finance:

The Global Finance Organization’s five functional areas report to the Chief Financial Officer. Our mission is to protect value through maintenance of a robust audit, control, and accounting environment; to deliver value through customer-focused, efficient finance transactions processes; to create value through proactive performance management, appropriate capital allocation, insightful analysis, tax and treasury optimization, and effective business development; and to promote value through high quality investor information and communication. Global Finance’s functional areas include Global Accounting, Business Partners (Global Records and Information Management (RIM) and Global Luxury Entertainment Arts Management (GLEAM), Data Center Finance, Corporate Finance, and Investor Relations.

Primary purpose of the role:

As a paralegal you will perform various duties in the formal and administrative field, including investigating cases, gathering relevant information and preparing processes and documentation for formal handling. This position requires specific legal/administrative education and experience to successfully complete the responsibilities necessary for this job. Paralegal must have a basic understanding of the law and various legal procedures. This includes providing prompt and professional support to various business lines in accordance with SLA and performance metrics (KPI’s).

Your role in our mission:

  • Preparing statements, legal and formal correspondence and other documents according to business needs

  • Investigating facts and laws of cases and searching public records and other resources to prepare cases and determine causes of action, i.e. organizing relevant documentation

  • Directing and coordinating collecting office activity, including delivery of subpoenas, preparing motions, legal arguments and other parts of a cases

  • Support in building the debt collection process, in particular adjusting the global process to local county specific requirements and best practices

  • Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system, in particular, keeping contract library up-to-date by monitoring contract volumes, defining archiving process as well as extracting customer master data

  • Gathering and analysing contracts, codes, documents and other data to understand and document customer special requirements

  • Drafting standard legal documentation, contracts

  • Conducting various types of research related to customer activity and history of cooperation

  • Performing a variety of administrative tasks including filing paperwork, answering phones and sending emails

Qualifications:

Degree in Law, Business Administration, or Finance

Skills:

  • Sound experience in an administrative roles, legal, customer services environment or analytical work environment
