Job Summary:

Iron Mountain InSight is a cutting-edge AI enablement platform that applies industry leading ML, including custom models, to classify and extract entities from unstructured content (Document Images, Audio and Video files, other data files and sources).

The Lead Enterprise Architect is responsible for leading the architecture team to provide end-to-end optimal cost effective solutions for new product features and customer-driven requirements. Works closely with multiple internal Iron Mountain teams to develop detailed solution designs. Continuously improving tools and the processes to deliver solutions.

Essential Job Functions:

⦁ Build, maintain, and lead a team of senior software engineers and architects to create analytics solutions for new and existing product features requirements and customer solutions.

⦁ Work directly with customers and/or product management to understand application and cloud architectural requirements, which include functional, security, integration, and performance requirements.

⦁ Identify risks, assumptions, and mitigation strategies associated with the different elements of solution design and architecture.

⦁ Provide input into project implementation plans.

⦁ Assist in troubleshooting major issues encountered with the implementations and/or newly developed product features.

⦁ Utilize design thinking methodologies and processes to facilitate development of solution design and architecture.

⦁ Coach and mentor engineering team members.

⦁ Work with InSight product management and other InSight team members on existing features and future roadmap items.

⦁ Participate/Lead design and solution discussions with various Iron Mountain partner vendors.

⦁ Subject matter expertise in database design, API based system integrations, development of services interfaces, search engines and front end development.

⦁ Oversight of full technology stack Python, Document databases like MongoDB, Graph databases like Neo4j, REST APIs, JAVASCRIPT, PL/SQL, NodeJS, Spring, Kubernetes running in a cloud hosted environment

⦁ Analyzes and resolves issues; Escalate issues to senior management when required.

⦁ Support and promote Iron Mountain core values.

Responsibility and Authority:

⦁ Oversight of design and delivery of effective solutions for InSight customers.

⦁ Track and make key technical decisions

⦁ Perform vendor / open source comparisons and evaluations

⦁ Responsible for guiding the InSight technical implementation team on end-to-end solutions.

⦁ Responsible for identifying, resolving, and when necessary, escalating any issues that may be impeding the success of the project.

⦁ Responsible for team management, including setting goals, evaluating performance, and building a strong talent pool.

Functional Knowledge Skills & Competencies:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field

Skills:

⦁ Strong technical background and understanding of enterprise solutions including networking, storage, hardware, and software layers.

⦁ Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies and solutions - GCP, AWS, Azure

⦁ Leadership experience in delivering large scale data driven platforms

⦁ Ability to design and drive teams to create highly scalable, performant and stable systems.

⦁ Working knowledge of Agile frameworks

⦁ Experience with Analytical platforms & databases like DataBricks, RedShift, MongoDB

⦁ Strong understanding of Electronic Content Management Systems and Business Process Management Systems.

⦁ Ability to illustrate architecture plans and create design documents

⦁ Proficient in all of the following technologies/languages:

⦁ Python

⦁ MongoDB

⦁ SQL

⦁ NodeJS

⦁ REST APIs

⦁ JSON/XML

⦁ Kubernetes

⦁ JAVASCRIPT

⦁ Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills

⦁ Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

⦁ Ability to multitask and prioritize issues in a complex environment.

⦁ Ability to lead discussions related to API Integrations with various industry leading vendors.

⦁ Architecture / Cloud certifications highly desired

Prior Work Experience:

⦁ Requires 10 plus years in Software development and implementation in a matrix environment, utilizing various SDLC methodologies.

⦁ Requires 10 plus years of experience in design and solution of complex enterprise applications.

⦁ 5 plus years working on AGILE software development.

⦁ 5 plus years progressive technical experience implementing enterprise digitization solutions involving data capture, business processing management, and enterprise content management.

⦁ Experience in delivering solutions on Cloud platforms (GCP, Azure or AWS)
