Iron Mountain Senior Operations Manager in Dallas, Texas

The BNYM Senior Operations Manager is a key member of the leadership team working directly with the Director of Operations on all matters of collaboration among the leadership team, and the principal point of coordination with adjacent departments for around 500 employees.

As a trusted and empowered manager, this individual assists the Director with financial, day to day operations and general management activities for the entire program including customer communications servicing the mortgage industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all activities related to BNYM operations to include the workflow processes, ensuring process standards are practiced and followed, assessment of facility performance and capacity, customer service, and leader for all implementations and optimizations.

  • Lead the implementation of new technologies in support of the operation.

  • Review and manage to the program contract deliverables

  • Lead and execute select strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, increase contribution margins and deliver increased process efficiency for the entire business.

  • Evaluating performance results, identifying and assessing risk factors, managing action item registers and action trackers.

  • Assist in the design and execution/presentation of communications specific for the program to internal and external stakeholders including employees, leaders and clients. Interface with the customer as required, as well as participate in QBR’s and the like.

  • Occasionally represents the program and may be a proxy for the Director when needed.

  • Work cross functionally with Iron Mountain resources to assist in initiatives both in program and outside the program.

  • Plan, organize and lead business reviews to ensure that departmental goals, objectives and overall progress are being measured and reported on

  • Ensure operating metrics/service levels are in place for all aspects of the business and are reviewed/reported on a regular basis

  • Help in the creation of a culture of continuous improvement

  • Supporting the training of new staff in all phases of the custodial process.

  • Makes recommendations to management on desirable additions, replacements or changes

  • Coordination of local operations for proper safety / chain of custody / security

  • Included as part of the operation responsibility is capacity planning which includes managing the throughput of each phase of custodial processes.

  • Lead technology innovations and implementations to drive efficiencies within the business

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

  • Experience leading teams of over 200+ in a diverse work environment with SLA’s.

  • Mortgage industry experience a plus, but not required

  • Bachelor's degree in business or computer science; may have post-graduate education or training. Typically requires five to seven years of management and operations related experience.

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of computer experience in the Windows environment and imaging, experience with Kofax is a plus, with five or more years of management experience.

  • Active participation in the operations, support and maintenance of all aspects of imaging practices within Iron Mountain

  • Ensure process and procedures are in place to ensure Iron Mountain security policies and controls are met related to imaging

  • Strong project/program management experience

  • Excellent communication skills to convey information across broad audiences

  • P&L experience

  • Strong Mortgage processing experience a plus

  • Six sigma or equivalent certification or experience a plus

  • Experience in a high volume tight SLA production environment

  • Knowledge of imaging software (Kofax capture a plus)

  • Knowledge of computer and scanner operation

  • Excellent knowledge of G Suite, Windows environment with some knowledge of networking

  • Must be Dallas Metroplex based. This is not a remote position
