We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect for Iron Mountain’s Global Digital Solutions team. This position is integral to providing thought leadership and driving the successful delivery of intricate software development projects. As a Senior Solution Architect, you will take the lead in designing complex software engineering projects and assume responsibility for the development and maintenance of applications with minimal supervision.

We are seeking a candidate with robust design and development skills who is not only adept at strategic thinking but is also willing to work hands-on with the implementation team to ensure solutions are executed effectively. What you will do

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic guidance for the successful execution of complex software development projects.

  • Take charge of leading the design and implementation of intricate software engineering projects, ensuring applications are developed and maintained to the highest standards with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrate and apply advanced design and development skills, actively participating in a "hands-on" capacity with the implementation team to drive the successful completion of solutions

  • Collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders and business analysts to analyze and address complex business scenarios, designing optimal technical solutions that align with organizational objectives.

  • Direct and coordinate development teams, taking a proactive role in resolving code bugs, conducting thorough unit tests, overseeing code reviews,

  • Spearhead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, ensuring the continuous evolution and improvement of digital solutions.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with overall business strategy.

  • Lead architecture reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high-quality standards in software development.

  • Contribute to the development of technical roadmaps and strategies to support long-term business goals.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experience.

  • Several years of hands-on experience in application and product development, covering both new and legacy applications, business processes, integration, and information management.

  • Familiarity with recognized software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and RUP.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the Google application bundle.

  • Expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.

  • Experience with scanning projects using Kofax Capture, Kofax KTM, and Globalscape.

  • Proficiency in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and automation tools like UIPath, AutoIT, and Automate.

  • Hands-on experience with information management tools, including Document Management Systems (DMS), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Workflow Automation, Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Accounts Payable (A/P), and Intelligent Document Processing.

  • Preference for candidates with experience in the outsourcing, Software as a Service (SaaS), or hosted solutions industry.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to the Senior Leadership team.

  • Cultural adaptability is a crucial attribute.

  • Fluent English (both written and spoken)
