We are seeking an HR Advisor to provide professional quality subject matter expert advice & execution on ER and/or LR matters, manage multiple ER cases from initiation to resolution, coach managers and, where necessary, manage trade union and work councils relationships.
We offer a basic salary of up to £28,000 per annum along with a flexible benefits package including a generous pension scheme, life assurance, private medical cover, employee assistance programme and more.
Handle escalated queries from tier 1 and 2
Tier 3 ER case management & documentation, managing cases through to resolution with the help of internal Legal function and/or external legal providers if necessary
Covers ER inquiry, disciplinary action, progressive performance management, policy breach, investigations, driver standards of conduct, EEOC claims, unemployment and terminations. Understands and assesses risk based and seeks assistance and/or escalates as necessary. Recorded on case management tool
Ongoing monitoring of workplace environment for pro-active identification of potential concerns or issues
Feedback loop for line managers & employees
Employee and ethics line investigations
Ongoing support and feedback with people managers on employee relations issues. Coaching of people managers
Ongoing management of relationships with trade unions and works councils (legal representative bodies), communicating and informing
Liaison with internal legal or external legal advisors on ER/LR issues ER and LR reporting, analysis and insight
Execution of local diversity and inclusion activities
Execution advice & support from an ER/LR perspective to organization change programs (e.g. organization changes), acquisitions and terminations
Transactional administration of union contracts
Unemployment paperwork (NA only)
Ongoing support and consultation with people managers on day to day employee issues e.g. disciplinary advice
Coordination and management of roundtable process (NA only)
Issuance of termination documents
Severance negotiations where they need high ER support
Continual review of documented processes to ensure consistency across all ER/LR specialists. creation or modification needs are elevated to appropriate levels to include PSP roles
