Location - Haslet, TX Shift –

Monday - Friday - 7am - 3:30pm

The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the 3PL business, including warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, and inventory management. This may require and develop into multiple site responsibility on a regional level. Requires excellent communication skills and the ability to independently evaluate and problem solve during the course of the day. Reports directly to the Operations Director.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

● Leadership & Team Management: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop large teams, including operations managers, warehouse staff, drivers, and customer service teams.

● Operational Management: Command day-to-day operations—inventory control, order fulfillment, logistics—ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

● Production Planning: Develop production schedules and allocate resources to ensure timely completion of job assignments, while maintaining records of time and production.

● Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to analyze key performance metrics, provide insights, and drive improvements based on data.

Process Improvement: Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies.

● Risk Management: Knowledge of managing operational risks, compliance, and safety regulations, especially in transport and warehousing.

● Project Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

● Financial oversight: Manage P&L for the operations unit, ensuring profitability while meeting client expectations.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

● Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in warehouse or logistics leadership, with specific experience in warehouse fulfillment or e-commerce management involving onsite ordering, picking, packing, and shipping, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

● Metrics: Proven track record of leading teams, managing complex operations, and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) in a logistics or supply chain environment.

● Customer Promise: Experience in customer relationship management, including managing client expectations and satisfaction.

● Financial Acumen Experience in financial oversight, including budgeting, P&L responsibility, and cost management.

● WMS Familiarity: Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

● Conflict Management: Strong skills in resolving conflicts and managing team dynamics.

● Temperature Tolerance: Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.

● Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting at least 40 lbs; weight may vary based on facility requirements. Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.

● Flexible Scheduling: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.

● Noise Tolerance: Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, including loud conditions.

Preferred ● Bachelors Degree

Hands-on experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and order fulfillment at scale. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills—because this role demands action, not just strategy.
