Your role in our mission:

Crozier Fine Arts is a leading provider of fine art logistics services. We specialize in the safe handling, storage, and transportation of valuable artwork.

We are currently seeking an experienced Gateway Coordinator to join our team in Hayes, West London.

This role is part of the Gateway team and is responsible for coordinating the transactions for all Export, Import movements and bond related stock and storage of artworks. Working closely with gallery services, Museum department, and transport and storage teams this role will ensure a smooth transition with our clients for transport and storage of artworks.

What you will do:

  • Co-ordination of Export, Import Air freight & road freight movements.

  • Produce customs entries using Descartes e-Customs software.

  • Assist in the application and implementation of the DEP & ETSF areas, including record management.

  • Receive rates from airlines and work with colleagues on converting into orders

  • Creating airwaybills

  • Liaising with Customs to ensure shipments are customs cleared

  • Raising & discharging T1’s

  • Organize and assist with Airside operations

  • Competently operate Crozier Fine Arts internal database system. (i.e. Input details of artworks)

  • Assist with incoming telephone calls

  • Work with transport to ensure works are transported safely, handled with care and to the highest standard.

  • Training and assisting colleagues and other team members when necessary in compliance changes and updates

  • Complete inter warehouse transfers for Customs controlled goods

Valued skills and experience:

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills

  • Recent experience in international shipping

  • IT literate

  • Ability to use own initiative

  • Good team player

  • Attention to detail and well organized

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Good communication skills

  • GCSE math and English as a minimum requirement

  • Art industry experience or knowledge an advantage

  • ECustoms, Chief or CDS Systems an advantage
