The Job

To effectively lead the Service Delivery team for RM and DM operations and ensure market utilises exceptional planning and builds strong customer relationships. This position encompasses all operational functions for running a successful location, included allocation of resources, management of costs, timely completion of customer projects, facilities management,partnering with third party providers and escalations as required to manager.

The Responsibilities

  • Lead the market Service Delivery Teams within RM and DM to efficiently, effectively, securely and safely manage the activities and facilities for operations at site

  • Develop a strong focus on metrics and P&L driven management

  • Manage and direct operational activities to achieve performance and cost targets. Responsible for all site, plant,equipment, people (including couriers)

  • Delivery of Service Excellence to customers, measured in customer satisfaction

  • Ensure consistent delivery of Service Quality to customers across the business

  • Oversee the implementation, comply with, and embrace Iron Mountain Standard Operating Procedures, StandardService Menu, and Global Operating Systems ensuring all processes in service delivery are being followed

  • Embrace best practice by engagement throughout ANZ and adopt the best practices, where practical, for continuousimprovement

  • Manage operational performance reporting, advising on maximising customer relationships and creating anenvironment where account management and customer service are competitive and best-in-class differentiators

  • Support Sales growth efforts, maintaining a profile with customers and engaging in large local bids when required

  • Support the market and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment, working with all local and national WHS&E requirements, policies and procedures are being met

  • Develop talent, succession planning, capability building and ensure high quality recruitment and foster a strong andvisible culture of service, excitement, teamwork, and productive effort in the local market

The Person

  • Experience leading large teams 20+ Experience working closely with and effectively motivating account managers

  • Successful leadership of a warehouse and/or logistical operation

  • Proactive management of safety, quality, and other Risk Management programs and development/enhancement of associated culture

  • A demonstrated ability to understand targets and business objectives and develop and execute against plans to achieve them

  • Proven ability to develop talent (including providing effective coaching and feedback)

  • Demonstrated ability to solve multi-dimensional problems

  • Account Management skills

  • Advanced Negotiation Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and drive team members

  • Business planning and prioritisation skills

  • Executive presence and strong impact and influencing skills

  • Ability to understand and apply market intelligence and research to sales strategy

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to present information effectively to diverse groups
