The Field Marketing Executive is instrumental in the effective deployment of marketing initiatives and plans into the commercial organisations (UK + Ireland). For this dynamic and challenging position we are looking for someone with good knowledge of marketing theory as well as hands-on practical experience. You will interact with all levels of the commercial organisation and will support initiatives that include among others implementation of integrated multi-touch marketing campaigns and events coordination, including both inbound and outbound tactics. The aim of the role is to assist in developing the marketing pipeline and to deliver leads to sales that will lead to new bookings across the entire product suite.
If successful we will look for you to conduct the following duties:
Provide marketing generated leads, sales opportunities and bookings; cost of campaigns, number of deals sourced by marketing as a % of total pipeline and total booked revenue.
Help in running a smooth operating rhythm of measurable campaigns that drive revenue through sales teams.
Execute integrated marketing programs (incl. events, email, web, social) mapped to the buyer journey.
Implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales.
Identify opportunities and innovate to improve customer marketing and cross/up sell campaigns.
Partner with marketing support teams to leverage their expertise and get them to engage in working for your cause (e.g. provide constant feedback to the online marketing team on SEO/PPC leads to improve inbound initiatives / Work with Content to localise content for your markets).
Work to localise global content and find opportunities to create impactful local content.
Support with development and execution of social media campaigns through paid and organic channels, working closely with the agency and EMEA Social Media Manager
Help in selecting and managing events (sponsored and hosted) to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates.
Proactively engage with UKI commercial sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities (aligning marketing with their business priorities).
Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities, through internal marketing newsletter and other channels
Manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs (incl. events services, direct mail providers, content syndication providers, telemarketing agencies, and list brokers).
Measure, analyse and report on impact of activities (on operational, campaign and tactical level).
What will you bring?
A marketing generalist with relevant experience from a B2B marketing environment.
Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales.
Experience in executing marketing tactics.
Experience in driving partner marketing.
Planning/project management, can execute on a number of tasks simultaneously and to a tight deadline.
Knowledge of marketing and communication principles, practices, and techniques.
Familiar with B2B sales cycle and how to identify opportunities to maximize demand creation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration.
