Iron Mountain Account Manager, Crozier in New York, New York


Based in New York, Crozier Fine Arts is an industry-leader in art storage and logistics and an advocate for worldwide commercial standards. A component of the Adjacent Businesses segment within Iron Mountain, Crozier provides services that support the art management lifecycle, from initial purchase to final sale; including secure storage, climate-controlled vaults, viewing areas, consultation, installation and project management services, and international shipping capabilities for art industry professionals and collectors all over the world.



The Account Manager is responsible for bringing Crozier’s service offerings and capabilities to our clients. In this role, the Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact while developing and maintaining long-term relationships with their portfolio of assigned clients. Account Managers are also responsible for supporting the execution of projects and resolution of issues, by connecting with Sales Managers, Project Coordinators, and other key personnel to ensure client needs are addressed and solutions offered.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate/increase revenue of new and existing clients to meet annual revenue goals

  • Own, manage, and develop relationships with clients through day- to-day interactions; actively grow industry relationships in order to gain marketplace intelligence

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with clients and proactively assess, clarify, and validate client needs on an ongoing basis

  • Understand customer needs, look for opportunities to develop creative solutions, and effectively promote Crozier’s services to tailor to the client’s specific needs

  • Drive profitable growth and client retention through the development and establishment of strong client relationships

  • Ensure clients receive superior customer service - address and help to resolve unexpected issues that may arise to ensure client satisfaction

  • Consult with Project Managers to assess scope of projects, attending site inspections when necessary

  • Manage communications related to the project to and from the client

  • Communicate with client post-completion of projects to ensure satisfaction and determine any areas for future improvement

  • Follow-up with internal teams to relay feedback and strategize for any adjustments to be made to ensure continuous improvement

Experience, Skills and Attributes:

  • 4-7 years’ experience in an Account Management/Project Management role

  • Knowledge and passion for all things art related, including the latest market trends and developments

  • Proven team player with a track record of strong client/account management

  • Strategic thinker who is solutions-oriented and proactive in problem solving

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across several teams/departments

  • Core business knowledge and understanding of back-end processes

  • Financial acumen, with an ability to understand pipelines and forecasts

  • Strong work ethic with an ability to manage workload while efficiently and effectively prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines and deliver results

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Strong relationship-building skills, interpersonal skills; client-centric attitude

  • Proven experience in building client portfolios

  • Self-starter; ability to work very independently, but also fit into a strong team environment
