Responsibilities

Working remote, The Director, Business Development for Information Governance & Digital Solutions (IG&DS) will lead a team of sales roles for multiple sales segments, which could include Vertical Markets, National Accounts and Territory Sales. The Director will be responsible for driving, delivering and supporting overall budgeted net new sales booking and revenue goals. The Director will work in collaboration with technical sales support, sales channels and functional group.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and coaching for the sales roles within a geographic and named account base; building, developing, managing and leading the team to meet the accelerated growth of IG&DS

Must meet budgeted revenue targets through driving and supporting new IG&DS development in new and existing customer bases.

Responsible for identifying and collaborating IG&DS sales support strategies for team, channels and markets

Stay current with changes in the industry, competitive environment, product/service offerings available from competitors, and share that knowledge with your team

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel approximately 50% including overnight trips, as needed.

  • Experience managing senior level sales/sales support.

  • Candidate must have a strong background and knowledge of solution selling, sales support and strategic account management.

  • Excellent written and presentation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, planning and analytical skills.

  • Ability to influence others in a matrix environment.

  • Experience managing a team of seasoned sales professionals and/or sales support.

  • Ability to make decisions and think in broad terms, considering the impact on the entire company.

  • Ability to interface effectively at all levels of Iron Mountain and customer personnel (to include C-level on a wide range of information governance and digital topics and issues).

  • Ability to work remote, as this position can be based anywhere in the US
