HR Generalist/ Manager - Philippines, APAC
Executes efficiently and effectively on HR programs and plans in support of leaders, managers and employees in the Philippines and is part of the APAC HR Service Delivery team. Provides assistance and support to our internal customers across a range of processes in one or more countries.
Responsibilities:
Handle escalated queries from Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams
CoE program execution and support of new changes
Responsible for Employee Handbook and other HR Policies for Philippines
Execution of annual Centre of Excellence (CoE) cycles as required e.g. merit/bonus; benefits, talent (career conversations, 9 box talent calibration, goal setting & goal achievement, employee engagement surveys
Liaison with people leaders to update data in system following compensation data audits
Execution of orientation/onboarding activities as per Talent CoE strategy
Advising people leaders on related processes around promotions, salary administration, out of cycle merit increases
People leader training in processes and/or soft skills either directly, or via train the trainer sessions; translation and/or localization of communication materials and their distribution
Provision of in-country change management to local leadership
Support and advice to people leaders on onboarding
Support and advice to people leaders on end of probation reviews (where legally required)
M&A support, a part of the APAC HRSD Regional Hub
Execution orientation/onboarding for M&A
Align and manage regional and local recognition strategies to global recognition programs. Act as Voice of Customer for the CoEs
Provide feedback (via Global Portfolio Group) feedback from people leaders and employees on CoE programs and plans
Coach Tier 1 staff at 3rd party vendor teams on enhancing customer experience across all processes and partner with Payroll team
Manage all Employee Relations cases
Provides reports at the request of HRBPs, People Advisors and senior business leaders, including analysis and insight
Support people leaders with in-country engagement activities
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
Tertiary qualifications in HR is preferred
7+ years progressive experience in HR with strong functional knowledge
3+ years working in a regional HR Shared Services organization is a plus
Knowledge of Workday & exposure to ServiceNow as HR Case Management tool is a plus
English and Filipino proficiency is required
Demonstrated experience of, and focus on, proactively managing customer relationships
Must possess demonstrated understanding of continuous performance measurement
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with key stakeholders in a complex, multi-supplier and matrixed environment
Curious; proactively ask questions about wider context in order to understand where to provide most business value; taking our customers to where they ought to be, not where they want to be
Being courageous when we need to push back and say NO, or pull them to lead them to a different place
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced situations that require sound decision making combined with exceptional conflict resolution skills
High degree of comfort with change, with the skill to easily shift priorities to meet business needs
