Warehouse Coordinator needed at Iron Mountain
The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Operations Supervisor and field driving/ warehouse team, implementing best practices in the warehouses and assisting the warehouse team in item processing, packing and pulling items for delivery. This role is responsible for enabling an efficient day-to-day following of processes through accurate route staffing, driver training, absentee coverage and communication.
Full Time Schedule and Compensation: $20.00/hourly -- Monday - Friday generally working 7am-3:30pm (schedule subject to change based on operational need)

What you’ll do:
Motivate Associates to be efficient, productive, and promote a healthy happy work environment.
Lead the workflow of warehouse processing.
Coordinate and lead the team to ensure all roles are being fulfilled safely.
Report on daily production outcomes.
Implement new ideas and processes that will drive overall efficiencies while leading by example, especially on the Warehouse floor.
Pack, Wrap, secure and move boxes, furniture, appliances and other residential items .
Scan and categorize customer goods using mobile technology.
Load items into box truck to be transported from origination point.
Unload items from box truck into destination point.
Plan for and execute daily route planning & preparation; daily task assignments to drivers.
Monitor route progress and efficiency throughout the day, effect changes as appropriate.
Ensure safety and security procedures are understood and followed.
Resolve customer delivery issues while executing daily reporting of metrics as assigned.
Assist supervisor with driver check in/check out processes.
Accountable to notify and Report to Management all variances to plan in Route Performance
Support/Coverage - Provide phone coverage, including calls from drivers, and other route related inquiries.
Provide backup coverage for vacant routes, absences as needed.
Training - Train drivers on safety, security, route knowledge and courier procedures through the use of check rides.

Must have Supervisory Experience
Must have at least 1 year box truck driving experience.
At least one year of route transportation experience is preferred.
You are comfortable with managing a team.
Climb/step-up into a truck cab.
Lift at least 70 lbs.
Ability to move, pack/unload at customer site for extended periods of time.
Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time.
Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills.
Attention to detail with Mobile scanning technology.
You’re flexible to work weekends/ and shift schedule changes as needed.
Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
