The Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition leads a teamresponsible for full-cycle talent acquisition activities and results for both U.S. and Canada for the Field organization (Transportation, Operations and Call Center).Responsibilities but not limited to overseeing the strategic planning and development of successful targeted sourcing strategies, supervising the work and performance of a high volume, functioning team of Recruiters as they manage the life cycle interview and selection process.

This role serves as a liaison between the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, Operations leadership and HR Business Partner relationships. This position is accountable in establishing effective recruitment strategies and pipelines by using their expertise in local market intel as well as leveraging external/internal tools, resources and partnerships to access the quality and quantity of talent requested in a cost effective, efficient and timely manner. The key positon will drive process improvement, Reporting and Analytics of the end-to-end Talent Acquisition process.


Key Responsiblities:

  • Responsible and accountable for end-to-end requisition management both directly and through others. Including tactical and strategic approaches to sourcing and selecting the best possible talent for open position.

  • Develop recruitment strategy for various positions across multiple disciplines.

  • Keep up-to-date on all EEO standards, and applicable federal and state/provincial laws while selecting candidates.

  • Interact with senior leaders regarding ongoing recruiting improvements and engaging in continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with internal HR partners in developing strategies to manage current and future headcount needs, while delievering service for high volume hirings (2000 + reqs filled annually).

  • Leverage all of the internal/external tools, teams and resources, to develop a strategic, multi- faceted sourcing plan to insure a consistent flow of qualified candidates to fulfill the business key business objectives, while providing diverse slates of candidates

  • Review existing recruitment programs and marketing outreach. Develop new and innovative ways to access untapped markets and create a robust marketing plan to attract the best diverse talent to Iron Mountain

  • Ensure regular communication to all stakeholders on recruitment metrics, trends, labor market data and other impactful measures that affect the sourcing and selection of talent. Be able to articulate the successes as well as the potential threats to success in both the short and long-term goals.

  • Directly supervise and lead the Talent Acquisition team to insure all processes run smoothly to include all compliance related administrative work and recruitment efforts. Hold teams accountable to performance score cards which include the optimization of all systems and tools.

  • Mentor and coach recruiters on best practices; manage individual and team performance; provide needed training and development, including the development of successful recruiting approaches in their areas

  • Design and deliver strategies, best practices, tools and collateral to improve the field recruiting process and enhance the quality, quantity and caliber of candidates presented to the organization.

  • Create innovative programs, events and campaigns to generate awareness and build candidate pipeline across multiple geographies

  • Participate as a member of the HR team. Participate and contribute to global initiatives (pilots and tool roll outs, budget planning, candidate strategies, performance standards, org structure/competency design).

  • Develop and drive Iron Mountain’s social media and networking initiatives

  • Partner with HRBP’s to stay informed on workforce planning, developing and implementing effective diversity strategies and reviewing annual affirmative action plans.

Functional Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 8+ years recruiting experience, including 3 or more years in a management capacity

  • Experience managing recruitment for transportation, operations and call center

  • Unparalleled organizational, communication, leadership and customer service skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and people leadership skills

  • An ability to build and coordinate cross-functional teams from a wide range of disciplines

  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly growing and highly collaborative environment

  • Previous experience implementing scalable recruiting programs.

  • Strong knowledge of recruiting-based websites, applicant tracking systems, and creative sourcing techniques.

  • Flexibility to work independently and collaboratively on multiple tasks cross-functionally.

  • Critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent team player with strong rapport skills, ability to style shift with various personality styles.

  • Must be able to negotiate and close with job candidates including senior management job candidates.

  • Experience in using and understanding talent acquisition metrics and the ability to implement strategies to improve results

  • Process improvement mindset to drive change

  • Analytical skills to present and analyze current data and metrics to recognize trends and recommend appropriate actions to improve performan

Travel requirements – 20%

Location: Midwest/West preferred. This is a remote position.
