We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Transportation Router to optimize our daily delivery and pickup routes, manage logistics, and support dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of routing principles, excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in routing software.
JOB DUTIES:
Design and optimize efficient and cost-effective delivery and pickup routes daily, considering factors such as delivery windows, traffic patterns, vehicle capacity, driver availability, and customer requirements.
Utilize routing software to generate optimal routes, minimize mileage, reduce fuel consumption, and improve overall fleet utilization.
Import and manage client orders efficiently, ensuring all delivery details and special instructions are accurately captured for routing.
Plan and prepare next-day routing schedules, including driver assignments and vehicle allocation.
Act as a key liaison between drivers, customers, and internal departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in transportation routing, logistics, or dispatch.
Proven experience with routing software and transportation management systems.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in routing and logistics software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, customers, and colleagues.

Reasonably expected salary range: $39,400.00 - $49,300.00
