Senior Analyst, Commercial Strategy and Insights
We are seeking a Remote Senior Analyst to join our Commercial Strategy and Insights team. This team is responsible for setting up our commercial organization for success, delivering ongoing and project based commercial insights and for leading key strategic programs. Our team sits at a fascinating vantage point to drive transformation and modernization of a Fortune 1000 sales organization. This team is responsible for structuring analysis and synthesizing data-driven insights to develop and prioritize our commercial strategy. This is a Global role, responsible for serving all products and regions in the organization. Our team works cross-functionally with teams across the organization, such as business units, sales, marketing, product management, sales enablement and others, to identify and answer high priority business questions. We also help identify and investigate trends in key business metrics, and communicate findings out to the rest of the organization.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with exposure to some of the most strategic and critical projects in the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnering with teams across the organization to structure analysis around high priority business questions and synthesize findings to inform strategic decisions
Monitoring business trends and commercial performance
Ideating on solutions to key business problems based on data-driven insights
Building data driven models to drive visibility into business health, expected outcomes and to empower our commercial teams to operate more successfully through the use of data, e.g., forecast models, sales event triggers, activity prioritization models
Reviewing ongoing commercial performance by developing ongoing reporting; Interpreting and communicating the story that the performance data is telling us to drive focus, change and improvement
Reacting to ongoing requests from key business stakeholders to share commercial performance data
Functional Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
Minimum two years increasingly responsible for data analysis and presentation or strategic consulting
Expertise with analytics tools e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Advanced Excel
Experience with commercial reporting, specifically from salesforce
Strong communicator, both through written content development and in-person communications
High level of expertise with office presentation tools, e.g., Powerpoint
Detail oriented, highly collaborative and persistent in the face of obstacles or challenges
Independent and innovative thinker who can challenge the status quo and think about key innovations that will create business value
