Warehouse Specialist
Must Be willing to pass a Public Trust Clearance
Location: 1 Archives Drive St. Louis MO 63138
1st (Monday through Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm) (some Overtime Required)
Pay: 19.48 per hour with benefits / 24.05 per hour without benefits
At Iron Mountain, you’ll be part of a dedicated workforce in a global company that celebrates the skills you bring for the benefit of our customers and each other. The Warehouse Specialist position is an important contributor in supporting the needs of our clients. This is a physical role responsible for both inventory fulfillment (picking and packing) as well as other warehouse work in our warehouse and logistics center. We are seeking candidates who have experience operating powered industrial trucks (ex. ride on pallet movers, forklifts, order pickers, turret trucks) and thrive in a setting where there is variety to the daily work.
These are the duties for the duration of a shift:
Pick and pack orders using a scanner and computer
Move boxes weighing between 25-60 pounds onto and off of pallets
Move groups of boxes weighing several hundred pounds with wheeled carts and pallet jacks
Wrap pallets with shrink wrap/reusable pallet wraps
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Ensure security of customer inventory and follow physical security guidelines Use required personal protective equipment (cut-resistant gloves, hi-visibility vest and safety shoes/overtoe protectors provided)
Work Environment:
Warehouse is not climate controlled and inbound/outbound trailers can get cold in the winter and hot in the summer (heat and air conditioning provided in break rooms but not in the warehouse)
Environment is active with many moving people and powered industrial trucks
Must be comfortable working from heights as order pickers and turret trucks operate above ground level
REQUIREMENTS :
Experience operating industrial/power equipment
Experience and comfort doing a physical job
Ability to lift to up to 60 pounds regularly
Ability to remain stationary and perform repetitive motions for extended periods Ability to climb, stoop, crouch, kneel, push, reach, and pull regularly
Strong attention to detail
English reading, writing, and communication skills
