Client Delivery Program Manager

Responsible for managing overall Iron Mountain project and program delivery including, scope, timeline, budget, resource tracking and risk mitigation and is the key point of contact for day-to-day activity, internal and customer communications. Works with the Client Principals, Functional and Solution Architects to create a project plans to deliver against the scope of work created by the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of the project plan, timelines and GANTT charts.

  • Responsible for the creation of the kanban cards for daily management of tasks.

  • Organising, attending & chairing the daily meetings to assign work items

  • Ensuring that the work items are completed and updated by the close of day.

  • Management of new work item ticket creation throughout the project and allocation of resources against.

  • Monitor the staff utilisation throughout the project and alert any issues against budget to the Client Principal.

  • Create and manage risk registers, decision logs, project status reports and comprehensive implementation plans.

  • Reporting to the client and the client principal of the status of the projects through reports and dashboards.

  • Responsible for project governance such as reporting, risk mitigation, risk escalation, financial and status meetings, and steering committee meetings.

  • Define project schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects, including budgets over £1m.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills; able to inspire and influence teams and senior execs alike.

  • Familiarity with user-centred requirements engineering, acceptance criteria and testing charters.

  • Expertise in creating detailed project plans and owning the successful delivery of project plans end to end

  • Experience in Agile delivery, ideally for multiple teams, internal and external.

  • Ability to constantly multi-task, and prioritise own and others work according to a changing business environment

  • Ability to work in short sprint cycles and continuously drive the team to deliver each iteration against their goals

  • Strong stakeholder communications, reporting weekly and daily to senior management

  • Management of cross-functional teams, leading daily and weekly scrum meetings.

  • Working knowledge of smartsheets, jira, service now, github

  • Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects to agreed time, cost, quality and scope parameters

  • Working knowledge and experience of both agile and waterfall methodologies

  • Advanced to expert level leadership and general management skills, including conflict resolution capabilities and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage matrix based teams, both internally and client side to meet.
