Position Description: The Iron Mountain Executive Engagement Program is seeking an experienced Executive Briefing Strategist to manage and help deliver executive briefings and engagements for our customers at the Iron Mountain Executive Innovation Center (EIC) in Manassas, VA. The Executive Briefing Strategist partners with internal sales account teams, discussion leaders, and company executives to plan and execute on-site, virtual, and hybrid executive engagements.

You will partner with internal discussion leaders and executives to create customized briefings and immersive experiences for our customers.You will use high judgment and expertise to set the strategy for each briefing and consult sales teams on best practices throughout the process. You will regularly review program success metrics to ensure each briefing is meeting the goals and objectives of both the customer and those of Iron Mountain.

This position supports occasional remote work however the successful candidate will be required onsite in Manassas, VA on briefing days.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership, sales, marketing, and business development to create, plan and execute customized executive briefings and engagements

  • Act as a consultant to Iron Mountain account executives during the briefing and engagement planning process

  • Ensure briefing requests meet program criteria, are aligned to actionable outcomes, and value/impact can be quantified through key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Consult/advise account teams on best practices for successful briefing/engagement execution

  • Facilitate planning calls with account team, discussion leaders, and executive attendees

  • Manage post-engagement follow-up process including customer feedback, immediate actions, identification of new opportunities, and summaries for internal attendees and stakeholders

  • Conduct deep dive debrief with account team and discussion leaders

  • Manage light briefing facilitation including managing introductions, validate agenda/objectives, debrief/summary between topics, keep discussion leaders on time throughout day, manage closing session

  • Partner with sales, sales leadership, business development, marketing, and sales enablement team to educate internal participants on the value of the executive engagement program

  • Customize content and briefing materials for each executive customer engagement

  • Identify and propose solutions to gaps in content offerings

  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for the program

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Proven ability to problem solve and manage through ambiguity

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Remaining calm under pressure and ability to manage last-minute changes or requests

  • Proven ability to build partnerships and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in marketing, sales, sales support, project, program management, or executive engagement

  • Familiarity with Google Workplace

  • Experience working with Salesforce or equivalent cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS)

  • Experience working with briefing management software platforms

  • Experience using key performance indicators and metrics to make informed decisions
