Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for international and domestic full-service shipping and project coordination, and is organized within the Client Services team at Crozier. General responsibilities include; coordinating and overseeing the execution of services and projects for Crozier’s clients, while working alongside our Sales, Account and Collection Managers.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage everything from complex and large-scale projects to simple pickups and dropoffs (from planning and pricing through execution) to ensure successful delivery in terms of scope, deliverables, and client satisfaction
Museum and gallery-level experience with coordinating major domestic and international consolidations including courier supervision
Leverage Project Team technical skill sets to enable strategic, high quality planning and delivery
Utilize a consultative approach to determine technical requirements, design solutions, define dependencies, assess risks and build estimates
Liaise and collaborate with internal and external resources [including third party booking and management]
Manage costs and ensure projects are delivered within or on budget, subject to scope change
Maintain operations and financial compliance, as well as uphold Project Management standards
Monitor services scheduled and project timeline, update client and account Manager regarding any changes in scope, particularly as they deviate from original estimate
Utilize problem-solving abilities if changes to the project occur – work through issue resolution to completion, delegating or escalating when necessary
Provide clear and concise directives to operating depts and third party, including collaborating with and briefing Crew Chiefs when appropriate
Ensure estimates, work orders and invoices are clear, and that they delineate the required services in chronological order
Create and review invoices for accuracy, and ensure invoices are approved in a timely manner
Understand compliance with regulations as required for import/export shipments such as US Customs, Fish & Wildlife, IPPC, etc.

Experience, Skills and Attributes:
2-4 years’ experience in an Account, Operations or Project Management role
Passion for all things art related, including the latest market trends and developments
Proven team player with a track record of project coordination/management
Core business knowledge and understanding of back-end processes, as well as knowledge of Crozier’s full suite of services
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across several teams/departments in both a remote and in-office environment
Strong work ethic with an ability to manage workload while efficiently and effectively prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines
Financial acumen, with an ability to understand pipelines and forecasts
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Exceptional diligence and attention to detail as well as resourcefulness and quick, practical thinking in a demanding environment
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
Strategic thinker and logistics expert who is solutions-oriented and proactive in problem solving
Knowledge of inventory management systems
